Tier 05 of our planning relationship

The Philanthropic Blueprint

Give with intention. Build a lasting impact. Not just at the end, and not just on paper.

A living, deliberate expression of what you value most.

For many of our clients, one of the most meaningful dimensions of building wealth is the opportunity — and the responsibility — to share it. Done well, giving is a strategy: it answers to your tax picture, your estate plan, your family, and the causes you actually care about.

Done casually, it’s a year-end check written under time pressure. The Blueprint is how we move you from the second to the first.

Experience behind the work

We currently serve as advisors to four private foundations — conducting due diligence, presenting to trustees, and helping families make high-impact grant decisions with confidence.

Three ways clients usually give

The vehicle should follow the intent.

Donor-Advised Fund

Simple to open, flexible to grant from, and effective for bunching deductions in a high-income or liquidity-event year.

Private Foundation

Maximum control and a governance structure your family can grow into. More administration, and worth it for the right intent.

Charitable Trusts

CRTs and CLTs, when the giving needs to work alongside income, appreciated assets, or a transfer to the next generation.

What the work includes

Generosity is rarely the hard part. Deciding where it goes, and teaching the next generation to decide well, usually is.
